“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

Welcome to Fall at Green Valley
Fall has officially arrived at Green Valley, complete with all its brilliant colors. As the seasons change, each one holds new adventures and different beginnings. If you love fall, you will want to make sure you book your stay.

Why Green Valley for a Fall Getaway?
Green Valley is nestled in the mountains of South Central, PA., and leaf peeping opportunities are everywhere you look. From the colors changing on the hills around the cottages to watching them ripple across the pond. Everywhere you look there is color to behold.
Our property offers a wide variety of hiking trails. From cliffside adventures high above Bear Creek to leisurely strolls along its edges. When you visit us in the fall you can enjoy the sites, sounds and smells of fall in many ways.
Without ever leaving your cottage, spend your days by the fireplace reading a book, or relaxing in your own private hot tub as the leaves rain down around you. Biking the dirt road affords you the opportunity to enjoy the smells of autumn and the blurring colors of the season. Spend your nights beside a bonfire making s’mores.
Perfect Autumn Day Trips
Perhaps a day trip is in your plans. The area offers colorful rides on a historic steam engine, local parades, and activities. Biking along the C&O Canal on the rail trail or visiting historic Bedford, PA, Antietam Battlefield, and more.
Our cottages book quickly this time of the year. Be sure to book your stay today, and enjoy all that Green Valley has to offer during this colorful season. We have four cottages to choose from. Lory overlooks the lake, Excelsior is nestled on a historic farmstead, Francena is a woodland paradise, and Sophronia enjoys the sound of running water and Bear Creek.
