About Green Valley
Here’s a little bit about Green Valley. Founded in the 1960s as a public campground, and it was lovingly converted to a vacation rental property in 1996. The first cottage was named Sophronia after a founding member of the property.
The founding cottage was created from one of the campground’s original buildings. Francena came next, and was originally the office for the campground. Lory and Excelsior were later additions to this favorite vacation spot.
Over the years, Green Valley has been the go-to vacation spot over and over again for thousands of happy guests (Dogs included).
Why Green Valley?
Our four Cottages are cozy and comfortable, decorated in the classic Cottage style. No cabins here. For the glamping family or couple out there, this takes you a step above. Complete with electric log fireplaces and hot tubs, Green Valley is the perfect place to spend your next vacation.
What’s Included:
Fully equipped kitchens, washers, dryers, bathrooms and more. Plus, the bed, bath, and kitchen linens are provided. In fact, we provide everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The outdoors greets you with hot tubs, private bonfire areas, charcoal grills, and two bicycles per cottage.
Green Valley is pet friendly too. Actually, we love your pets, and our unique, secluded property is the best place for your dog to hang out.

About the Lake
For all of our cottages, you have full lake access. The 3-acre lake is only a short stroll or bike ride from your front door, and we provide 2 bikes for each Cottage.
The lake is stocked with fish, and sports three docks, pedal boats, and a row boat.
Lory Cottage has the added advantage of being our only lakeside cottage and is at the end of the lane with no other cottages in sight….very secluded!
About a Stay at the Farm
Each of our cottages is unique. Sophronia offers a large front yard complete with a volleyball net. Meanwhile Francena is tucked away under large shade trees, and is a perfect woodland retreat.
On the other hand, Lory is our lakeside vacation getaway. Overlooking the lake and at the end of our private lane. Green Valley is the perfect place to spend a week or a weekend.
Excelsior Cottage is our largest and most private cottage. It is located on the original farmstead at Green Valley. Complete with the original barn and wagon shed built about 1900.
