The kitchen is fully furnished and has an electric range w/oven, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster, refrigerator, and a full size washer/dryer. The full bath has a shower, and all bath and bed linens are provided. The front porch has a pair of adirondack chairs and makes a great place to observe the birds in the feeder or relax during a summer rain shower. |

The lake at Green Valley is 3 acres in size and ranges in depth from 4 ft. to 16 ft. Stocked with bass, bluegill, and catfish the lake is a favorite with everyone. A floating dock gives easy access to the pedalboat and rowboat and a fishing dock with adirondack chairs makes a great place to soak up some sun, read, or throw in a line ! |

Mid - Summer has brought some hot dry weather to the valley and Bear Creek has slowed to a trickle. Several Blue Heron are fishing the pools in the creek and are providing some good shots for the very patient photographer ! Butterflies are everywhere too, as the Joe Pye Weed, Goldenrod, Cardinal flower, and many others begin their summer show. Tonight I sit on the deck looking up at a sky filled with stars and listen to the katydids singing all around me. Behind me, up the creek a ways, two owls begin talkin it up. What a beautiful Summer Night !! |
